Hatem Jemmali is currently an Associate Professor in the Higher Institute of Accountancy and Business Administration at the University of Manouba. He is also an active member in the Arab Council for the Social Sciences, and regular member in the International Institute of Statistics. His areas of teaching and research expertise include quantitative and qualitative research methods, economics of natural resources and economic development. Dr. Jemmali's current research explores issues involving inequality and poverty, with a particular focus on inequality of opportunities in access to basic services including education and healthcare among children in developing countries. He has co-authored numerous highly cited journal publications, conference articles and working papers in the aforementioned topics, and has received the award and grants from various funding agencies including the Arab Council for the Social Science and the Economic Research Forum. Dr. JEMMALI earned his PhD in Economic Sciences from the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management of Tunis at the University Tunis El-Manar in 2012 and then habilitated from the same University in 2017. |
